Elbrus expedition from the north

Elbrus ascent is a dream, a first experience in high-altitude mountaineering, a struggle with yourself or an opportunity to meet good people. Climbers come to Elbrus with different goals, but climbing process unites, teaches ones mutual aid and love for the mountains!

Elbrus ascent by the north route is for ones, who like to do things fair. Route of very first ascenders, climbing where no cell service exists, and where no a snowcat could ease your way.

It's all serious in here! Reliance only on yourself and the team!

North route advantage - is in a smooth process of acclimatization with a backpack.

We carry our equipment ourselves from camp to camp, thus preparing our body for final ascent day strains.

Professional mountain guides
Team is accompanied by a professional guide, with more than 40 succesive Elbrus ascents experience.
Additional guides are provided for ascent day (1 guide for 3 guests).
No more than 6 climbers per group
Service quality and personal communication between guides and guests is important for us. 6 participants is an ideal number. In the mountains we shall learn to trust each other as to yourself, and thus, become a team!
Support for beginners
We want as many people as possible to have started going into the mountains. That's why we provide every kind of help to newcomers. Answering questions before ascent, sending useful info, and consulting about the equipment.

Healthy food by cook
Balanced nutrition with meat, vegetables and fruits. Cost includes services of guide-cook in base camp and high camp.
The only things needed from you: tableware and appetite!

Professional equipment rental
We cooperate with professional equipment rentals in Pyatigorsk and Emmanuel field. Guides personally help in picking the right equipment.
Smooth acclimatization process
Acclimatization takes place in scenic landscapes, while carrying backpacks with our personal equipment (no more than 15kg).

Breaks en route every 45 minutes.

Elbrus north route itinerary.

Day 1. Meeting in Pyatigorsk
Arriving to Mineralnye Vody airport (MRV) before 13:00. Transfer to Pyatigorsk. Accommodation check-in, missing equipment rental. Dinner, acquaintance, briefing.
Day 2. Transfer to “Emmanuel field" base camp.
Early transfer to base camp on Emmanuel field. Height 2500, acclimatizing walk in the area. Packing backpacks for the next day.
Day 3. Acclimatizing ascent to High camp
Acclimatizing ascent to height 3800 high camp. Trek with backpacks takes 6 hours up and 2-3 hours down.
Day 4. Moving to High camp.
Packing what's left, passing excessive weight to porters, starting to high camp. Climbing along the route via “Mushrooms" plateau. Rest in High camp.
Day 5. Acclimatizing climb to Lenz Rocks.
Early exit to Lenz Rocks acclimatization climb up to height 4700-4800 meters. Checking day of our condition and readiness before the ascent.
Day 6. Rest day
Resting in camp, preparing for the ascent. Ice trainings.
Day 7. Ascent to Elbrus Summit, 5642 m.
Early wake-up and exit on ascent. About 8 hours climb up and 4 more hours descent down. That's a day we were preparing for! Forward!
Day 8. Reserve day/Descent to base camp. Transfer to Pyatigorsk.
Reserve day in case of bad weather. /If ascent happened on planned day - descent to base camp and transfer to Pyatigorsk. Rest in the accommodation in Pyatigorsk.
Day 9. Transfer to Pyatigorsk. Flight home.
Transfer to airport. Flight after 17:00
Expedition starts on Saturday and ends next week Sunday.
Total: 5 working days.
